Woman dies while driving, 
crashes car in front of school

WEST BEND - An elderly woman was pronounced dead of a medical condition after crashing her car in front of Badger Middle School in West Bend Friday morning.

The 74-year-old woman from West Bend was pronounced dead at St. Joseph’s Hospital following the 10:57 a.m. incident in which the northbound vehicle the woman was driving crossed the southbound lanes and came to rest on a snowbank in front of the school at 710 S. Main St., the West Bend Police Department stated in a release issued Friday.

The name of the woman was not made public Friday pending contact with family, a department spokesperson said.
