WAUKESHA - The opportunity to register a child for one of the 450 available seats in the Waukesha School District ’s new 4K program will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 30 at Central Middle School.

Space is limited, and the school district said its Future 4 Waukesha program will only accept registrations on a first-come, first-serve basis May 30, which is a Saturday. Registration materials for the new 4-year-old kindergarten program were mailed to families with eligible 4-year-olds earlier this week, and parents must complete all of those materials and bring them to the registration, according to a news release from Debbie Wells, a coordinator in the district’s curriculum and instruction division.

Also, a child’s birth certificate and resident verification are required for registration that day, and a parent or guardian must be present to enroll a child, the release said. No proxy registrations will be accepted.
