WAUKESHA - Over the past two weeks, at least seven buildings have been reported damaged by BB guns or pellet guns.

Waukesha Police Capt. Mark Stigler reported that seven buildings, including businesses, were damaged between May 12 and May 23.

"These incidents are hurting average citizens at a time when they can least afford to pay for senselessly damaged windows. Most of these costs are paid out of pocket by the victims due to insurance deductibles. We need the public’s help to solve these incidents and to stop future incidents," Stigler wrote in an e-mail.

Windows were reported damaged at Master Z’s Dart and Pool Supply, 1005 Spring City Drive; Dillaber’s Locksmith Services, 829 W. College Avenue; and McDonald’s, 1425 S. West Ave. Homes in the 300 block of Greenfield Avenue, 200 block of South Moreland Boulevard and 400 block of East College Avenue were also reported damaged.

The Waukesha Police Department asks that if someone observes a person driving in a white pick-up truck, acting suspiciously or shooting out windows, call the department at 524-3831 or Crime Stoppers at (888) 441-5505 for a possible cash reward.
