WAUKESHA - The new Target store opening at 1250 Sunset Drive this July could be just the relief Michael Dietrich needs.

Dietrich, 32, was one of many job seekers who attended a Target Corp. job fair this week at the Carroll University Campus Center.

"I’m paying child support, and that’s a big payment I make sure I pay every month," said Dietrich, who is currently on unemployment and seeking a way to supplement his income to help pay bills. "This job (could) help me keep up on my expenses."

Target is looking to fill more than 200 jobs at the new store, for which people can apply online as well at www.target.com/careers.

Virtually every position in the store is open to applicants. A majority of the positions are part-time, however a handful of full-time management positions are also available.

Alyssa Farrar, Human Resources Executive Team Lead, noted that this job fair had a higher turnout than others she’s overseen in the past.
