WAUKESHA - Former Brookfield Alderwoman Cynthia Kilkenny is being sued by a developer for comments she has made on her blog.

According to a complaint filed Wednesday in Waukesha County Circuit Court, Joseph Niebler, president of NFI Properties, alleges Kilkenny defamed him and a subdivision project the Shire on her blog, fairlyconservative.com, and another blog.

The complaint says Kilkenny referred to Niebler as the "Dark Lord" and claimed he was selling poisonous lots to people in the subdivision because contaminates were leeching off of a nearby closed landfill.

Kilkenny said Thursday she hadn’t seen the complaint yet and is waiting to comment until she sees more information.

"I’m pretty careful, so it’ll be interesting to see the complaint," she said.
