MILWAUKEE - A unique new service is sweeping the area and it comes in a large orange shipping container.

Containers Up unveiled its mobile party bar at last week’s Brew City Cigar Festival at Old Heidelberg Park. The party container is 20 feet long and opens up into a party bar, which features amenities best suitable for parties, weddings and festivals.

“We believe the Containers Up mobile party bar is a first in Milwaukee,” Containers Up President Tom Daugherty said. “It’s a unique product that offers major advantages over tradition tent rentals for outdoor gatherings.”

In addition to a built-in wooden bar, the container has color-changing LED lighting and a surround sound system. The retractable side of the container also transitions into an awning to bring shade and cover from rainfall.

Party bar rentals start at $1,000 per day, which includes drop-off of the container and also pickup.
