OCONOMOWOC — The Oconomowoc Common Council approved Tuesday the redevelopment agreement for Eagle’s Landing at Lac La Belle, a proposed project that would result in a 21-unit condominium building being built at the site of the Spinnaker’s restaurant.

The agreement, which has been revised since it was last presented to the council in closed session, conveys what will be the city’s and developer’s responsibilities with the project.

The city approved in March a certified survey map which combines the American Legion-owned Spinnaker’s property, 128 W. Wisconsin Ave., with the former Peeble’s property at 116 W. Wisconsin Ave. and the city municipal parking lot into one lot to be used for the Eagle’s Landing at Lac La Belle.

The Oconomowoc Plan Commission approved March 8 the major design review plans for the proposed project Mark and Sue Neumann, who own Ten Point Properties, Inc., reached an understanding with American Legion Post 91 last summer that the building would be sold to the Neumanns should the Common Council approve the various measures allowing for the build.

Mark Neumann has said the building would feature a new restaurant and would also provide a space for the American Legion Post 91. He said the building could be as high as five to six stories at some points.
