WAUKESHA — The Waukesha County Center for Growth on Thursday announced that a study has found opportunities for long-term growth within the county.

In partnership with the Waukesha County Business Alliance, a Waukesha County Industrial/Business Park Land Absorption was performed to give local leaders insight into parcels of land that are best for development.

“At the Center for Growth, our main objective is to serve as the point of contact for businesses looking to grow in Waukesha County,” Tim Casey, director of economic development for the Waukesha County Center for Growth, said in a news release. “Having the results of this study at our fingertips will allow us to better serve the needs of our existing business community, as well as attract more businesses to the area.”

The information that was gathered through the study enables the county to grow its land inventory in response to business needs. It was conducted in two parts: analyzing existing business parks to show five to six years of the “most desirable land” and nine to 10 years of “total inventory remaining. An analysis then found parcels of land in the county that are available for future development.

The study provided a map that allows users to find parcels of land that are best suitable for business park development. To access the application, go to
