MILWAUKEE —SaintA informed the state Wednesday it will end its residential program offered at its main campus in Milwaukee, affecting 82 positions.

The final day of operations for the residential program will be Aug. 15, according to the notice. The change will affect 82 employees at 8901 W. Capitol Drive.

According to the letter sent to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, SaintA will focus on prevention and early intervention efforts to reduce the need for children to be separated from their families.

The 82 employees that will be terminated as part of the shift in the focus of operations will affect full-time and part-time workers. All employees who have continuously worked at SaintA for a year will be offered severance in addition to their current wages/salaries and benefits through the end of their employment.
