MILWAUKEE —SaintA informed the
state Wednesday it will end its residential program offered at its
main campus in Milwaukee, affecting 82 positions.
The final day of operations for
the residential program will be Aug. 15, according to the notice.
The change will affect 82 employees at 8901 W. Capitol Drive.
According to the letter sent to
the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, SaintA will focus
on prevention and early intervention efforts to reduce the need for
children to be separated from their families.
The 82 employees that will be
terminated as part of the shift in the focus of operations will
affect full-time and part-time workers. All employees who have
continuously worked at SaintA for a year will be offered severance
in addition to their current wages/salaries and benefits through the
end of their employment.
