WAUKESHA — Avalon Square is going through
some exterior changes that could last several months,
but will better prevent water from seeping into
apartments when finished.
Waukesha Senior City Planner Jeff Fortin said the city
approved building permits for the multi-phase project —
including new cladding around windows and pulling off
the fake metal balconies — in 2014, after some water
damage due to “however they fastened the balconies on.”
Workers are currently working on making the North
Barstow Street side look like the West Main Street side,
