Cedarburg will welcome Händen Distillery to its downtown this

require federal and state permits and must abide by local, state and
federal codes, according to city records. John Padberg said they
have received those permit approvals.

However, those plans were scaled back and paired with the furniture
consignment shop, Walter’s Loft, that now occupies roughly
two-thirds of the property.

nice tasting room with seasonal cocktails, a changing menu and a
nice, comfortable space,” Padberg said earlier this year.
And he isn’t
waiting for September to get mashing. He plans to start operating
the distillery and making products in July, ahead of the opening.
