MILWAUKEE — Van Horn Latino, the Latino population-focused dealership of the Van Horn Automotive Group, is celebrating its new larger location on West Loomis Road in Milwaukee.

Van Horn Latino got its start in February 2014, as a pre-owned car dealership at 7500 N. 76th St. Its new location at 3030 W. Loomis Road is 60,000 square feet and is capable of holding 80 vehicles. A 6,000-square‐foot, open‐concept building includes a showroom, four sales desks, customer lounge and service center, complete with four lifts and three service technicians.

There will be a grand opening celebration starting at 4:30 p.m. Friday with authentic Mexican food from Su Casa, performances by the Dance Academy of Mexico, live broadcasts from Milwaukee’s LaGrand and LaCaliente radio stations and activities for children and the entire family.

“As a sales person with many Latino customers, I saw the potential to have a dealership exclusively for the Latino market,” said General Manager Antonio Diaz in a statement. “I pitched the idea to Chuck Van Horn, CEO of the Van Horn Automotive Group, and the idea became a reality. I’ve had great support from executive leadership and from the Latino community ever since.”

The Van Horn Automotive Group is an employee-owned automotive group with headquarters in Plymouth. Founded in 1966 by Joe Van Horn as a single Chevrolet dealership, and purchased by his children: Chuck, Teresa and JP Van Horn, the Van Horn Automotive Group has grown to include 10 automotive dealerships, a finance company, a real estate business and several insurance companies. The group employs over 500 people in southeastern Wisconsin.
