Shorehaven’s ‘catered living’ apartments to have Sept. 14 grand opening

OCONOMOWOC — The grand opening for Shorehaven’s Lake Terrace Apartments East will take place Sept. 14 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 1340 W. Wisconsin Ave., according to a press statement.

The event will showcase the new catered living apartments, Lakefront Pavilion and Shorehaven Strength and Fitness Center.

The Luke Edgewood Trio will perform on the outdoor patio overlooking Lac La Belle, refreshments and door prizes will be provided, as will an opportunity for guided and self-guided tours starting at the lakefront restaurant, commons areas, apartments, movie theater, salon, heated underground parking, pet recreation area, picnic pavilion and fitness center and pool.

A shuttle service will be provided for participants parking at the warehouse just west of Shorehaven at 45 Capitol Drive with stops in front of Shorehaven, Forgotten Treasures Resale Shop, and at the new catered living restaurant area. The Shorehaven Service League will offer desserts in the picnic pavilion at the lakefront. The Forgotten Treasures Resale Shop will be open until 7 p.m. that evening on the east end of Shorehaven’s parking lot.

“Lake Terrace East adds another dimension of care to the Shorehaven Campus, providing services on site to help age in place,” Shorehaven explained in its press release. “Catered living joins independent, assisted, skilled care and rehabilitation, memory care and services to keep seniors independent and at home with Life@Home, Mobile Meals and the Center for Life Enrichment and Café LaBelle.”
