Both of the West Bend Pick ‘n Save locations — 1629 S. Main St. and 2518 W. Washington St. — are celebrating a grand re-opening to “complete a store refresh and remodel,” a news release said Wednesday.

Three free and kid-friendly activities are planned for 11 a.m.-2 p.m. the next three Saturdays, Aug. 12, Aug. 19 and Aug. 26, at both locations.

Each location added Pacific Kitchen, made to order Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine, including customized ramen, pho and stir fry.

At the south location, at 1629 S. Main St., a housewares location was added, offering several small kitchen appliances, dinnerware, cookware and gadgets.

“These store remodels are part of an overall Roundy’s initiative to update and expand our stores and offerings to meet the needs of today’s shoppers,” said Jim Hyland, vice president of communications and public affairs for Roundy’s Supermarkets Inc., in the release.
