TOWN OF BROOKFIELD —Women’s fashion retailer Altar’d State will open a new location this October in The Corners of Brookfield, which will be its first store in Wisconsin.

Altar’d State sells clothing, accessories, home décor and gifts and has a mission of making a difference in the world with local and international charities. The company has more than 80 boutique locations in the Midwest, South, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.

Through its Give Back and Mission Monday initiatives, Altar’d State donates a portion of all net proceeds to global and local non-profit organizations. In addition, Altar’d State also offers an online retail store found at www.altardstate.com.

Since it started, Altar’d State promoted efforts ranging from donations in local communities, offering a volunteer program for employees, and funding child-focused, global initiatives that support social development efforts in underserved areas in Peru.

In addition, it was announced Tuesday that DAVIDsTEA, a Canadian-based retailer, will sell its tea products and gifts at The Corners near Scout & Molly’s.

The company primarily has locations in Canada, the Northeast, California and Chicago. More information on the store can be found at www.davidstea.com.
