Metalcraft of Mayville Inc., which has plants in Mayville and West Bend, announced Wednesday it has acquired Venture Manufacturing in Beaver Dam, effective last Thursday.

Metalcraft representatives said in a news release the acquisition gives Metalcraft of Mayville Inc., “the additional capacity and capability they have been looking for to expand their business and serve their valued customers.”

The acquired Beaver Dam facility will operate as a division of Metalcraft of Mayville. Intentions are to retain all current employees working in the Beaver Dam facility and to increase the amount of manufacturing done in the facility. The acquisition, the release says, does not impact or affect the jobs in either of Metalcraft’s two existing facilities. Hiring and growth strategies will continue as recently communicated to work groups and the public.

“The addition of the Beaver Dam facility will help take Metalcraft of Mayville to new heights” said Randy Gloede, company president, in the release.

Metalcraft of Mayville Inc. is a precision metal fabrication and custom manufacturing company. The two facilities have a combined total of more than 630,000 square feet of manufacturing space.

Metalcraft of Mayville's main facility in Mayville has more than 400,000 square feet of manufacturing space. The second facility in West Bend has more than 230,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
