Menasha Corp. buys ARI Packaging

Menasha Corp. announced Wednesday it purchased ARI Packaging out of Alsip, Illinois.

According to a news release, “the business will operate as part of Menasha Packaging Co., a subsidiary of Menasha Corp.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Menasha Corp. is based in Neenah, but has plants spread throughout the U.S., including Menasha Packaging in Hartford, and Canada.

ARI Packaging is a supplier of contract packaging and fulfillment services for merchandising packaging and displays used by consumer packaged goods companies. Founded in 2000, the company employs 97 people and operates five facilities in three states — Illinois, Virginia and California.

“We’re excited to have ARI Packaging on our team, and we welcome the expanded services we can offer customers, particularly in the e-commerce arena,” said Mike Waite, president of Menasha Packaging Co., in a statement. “ARI’s capabilities align with Menasha Packaging’s full range of packaging products and related services that help our customers promote, brand and sell their goods online or in a retail store.”

According to its website, Menasha Corp. has sales in excess of $1.8 billion and employs more than 5,500 people.
