MEQUON ó Mr. Bís ó A Bartolotta Steakhouse will open its doors to hungry patrons in Mequon on Thursday.

Located on the corner of Cedarburg and Mequon roads, the new Mr. Bís is in the building that formerly housed Joey Gerardís Supper Club. Prior to opening, the restaurant has undergone renovations to replicate the look and feel of Mr. Bís in Brookfield. Renovations include new flooring, lighting, and artwork, as well as a wine cellar carrying over 200 varieties of wine.

Zoe Lord, formerly the assistant general manager at Lake Park Bistro, has been promoted to general manager of Mr. Bís ó A Bartolotta Steakhouse in Mequon. Executive Chef Amber Dorszynski, along with Bartolottaís Corporate Executive Chef and James Beard award-winner Adam Siegel, have created a menu similar to that of Mr. Bís in Brookfield. The restaurant will serve wood-fired premium cut steaks, including bone-in filet mignon and Angus ribeye, as well as a large assortment of fresh shellfish, seafood, and more.

ďOur Joey Gerardís Supper Club diners really gravitated towards the steak offerings, and we wanted to respond to that by elevating this restaurant into a true steakhouse. Mr. Bís provides the growing business community in Milwaukee and Mequon a space that is more appropriate for corporate dining and mid-week business. The entire team is excited to see the new Mequon location of Mr. Bís come to life, and continuing to be a vibrant part of the Mequon community,Ē said Joe Bartolotta in a statement.
