TOWN OF CEDARBURG — The upcoming ownership change from a PDQ to a Kwik Trip at 5 Corners received its necessary approvals from the town of Cedarburg at the board meeting last week.

Kwik Trip Inc. will be purchasing the property the week of Oct. 9 and officially open as a Kwik Trip on Oct. 10. According to initial paperwork submitted to the town, little is expected to change in the store’s initial weeks of operation. Kwik Trip does plan to replace the existing signage and initiate an interior remodel in the upcoming months.

As the new owner of the property, Kwik Trip Inc. has agreed to abide by all the permits and conditions currently in place with PDQ by the town of Cedarburg. No changes are expected to the convenience store’s hours of operation, which is open 24 hours a day.

Should the company decide to change any of the existing conditional uses, a new application would need to be submitted for approval.
