KOHLER —Kohler’s new Revolution 360 toilet flush was designed to satisfy consumers’ wants for toilet cleanliness and flush performance.

The company announced Tuesday that the Revolution 360 is Kohler’s most complete flush ever developed and is powered by the brand’s popular AquaPiston canister technology which allows water to flow out of the tank at 360 degrees, increasing the power and effectiveness of the flush.

“There is a lot of science behind toilet flushing, more than the average consumer tends to realize,” said Dan Halloran, Kohler senior principal engineer, in a statement. “From allocating the water used for rinsing versus the sump jet to the management and minimization of air within the flushing volumes of the system, our team explored a multitude of schemes before reaching the final configuration for the new Revolution 360.”

Once the water is released from the toilet tank, it goes into the bowl from a single, powerful port and swirls throughout the bowl. Because of the swirling motion, the Revolution 360 keeps the bowl cleaner longer than a conventional toilet, Kohler says.

The first toilet to feature the Revolution 360 flush is the Corbelle, which has a sleek design and a skirted trapway — a feature that helps to eliminate the areas where dust and dirt often collect.
