CITY OF PEWAUKEE — After 30 years of operating as Storage Systems Midwest, the City of Pewaukee company has undergone a rebranding campaign and changed its name to Axiom, Inc.

Axiom owner and CEO RJ Safranek said the former name did not properly reflect the company.

“The community has known us for years as Storage Systems Midwest, but that name never really told our whole story. We were always about more than just storage systems — while our partners were scaling and innovating, we were right there alongside them, trusted partners assisting with product and implementation needs. Today, we’re unveiling a name that honors our past but truly tells our future story,” he said in a statement.

The name change is one aspect of the large branding project that Axiom launched about a year ago that includes a new logo and website overhaul.

According to the Tuesday announcement, Axiom’s goal is to help clients better understand Axiom’s tailored offerings while staying true to its values and honoring its legacy.

Axiom offers turnkey, operations improving solutions including racking, conveyor, modular office, mezzanine, high density vertical storage, ergonomic equipment and consulting services.

“Axiom designs custom-fit solutions that solve process, workspace, and storage challenges for our commercial and industrial clients.  We’ve always felt as though our job is not complete until the customer’s goals are met.  Our customers rely on us to help improve their business, whatever the challenge, we won’t stop until we get it right,” said Joe Roth, vice president of sales & marketing, in a statement.
