MILWAUKEE — Shopping at The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. just got more playful with the addition of toy brand FAO Schwarz in 186 of the company’s departments stores and on its e-commerce website.

“This cherished brand has been enjoyed by children and families for 155 years and we are delighted to carry this unique toy collection in our stores,” said Chad Stauffer, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer for The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc., in a statement.

The Bon-Ton Stores include Boston Store, Bergner’s, Carson’s, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s and Younkers. FAO Schwarz will be located in all Milwaukee stores, including Boston Store in Brookfield Square Mall, Mayfair, Bayshore and Southridge, as well as Grand Avenue, which will have an edited assortment. Locations in Racine and West Bend will also carry FAO Schwarz.

At 10 a.m. Nov. 4, there will be a ribbon-cutting and launch at the stores. The first 25 children at each location will receive a special gift and have the opportunity to participate in the official FAO Schwarz ribbon-cutting and photo opportunity.
