GRAFTON — Cornerstone Community Bank is hosting a gift card drive at its Grafton location, 2090 Wisconsin Ave., in November.

The gift cards and money collected will be given to Ozaukee Family Services to assist their clients during the upcoming holiday season. There is a need for gift cards to grocery stores, gas stations and department/discount stores.

“We share gift cards with families for stores like Meijer, Target and Walmart – and local grocery stores, such as Piggly Wiggly and Pick ’n Save,” said Lisa Holtebeck, executive director of Ozaukee Family Services. “Many of our clients are in tight financial constraints and cannot fathom how they will afford a holiday meal, extra gas to visit relatives or Christmas gifts for their children.”

Cornerstone hopes to raise awareness of this need in the community. “In the spirit of thanksgiving, we encourage our customers, employees and the public to consider making a contribution to our drive this holiday season,” said Cornerstone Community Bank President Paul Foy.

Ozaukee Family Services is a nonprofit agency that meets the needs of children, families and seniors through dedicated, compassionate and caring staff and volunteers. They serve those in need by offering programs in family education and prevention, as well as counseling and senior services.
