WAUKESHA Hydro-Thermal Corporation, a Waukesha developer and manufacturer of Hydroheaters, is hosting a nonperishable donation drive from Nov. 11 to Nov. 17 to collect food and personal care items for U.S. troops, according to a press release.

Since troops have little storage and must carry 50 pounds-plus in gear, the company is asking that people donate travel sizes only. Food items include trail mix, powdered drinks, crackers, cookies, power bars and other nonperishable food items. Personal care items include baby wipes, lotion, sunblock, aloe vera, Q-tips, eye drops and other such items.

Aerosols, pork and things that will melt will not be sent to troops. All items can be dropped off at the Hydrothermal office on 400 Pilot Court in Waukesha.
