MUKWONAGO — Chef Robert Klemm announced Tuesday he is closing The Villa at Heaven City, which he owns and operates in Mukwonago, to join two prominent restaurant groups in Delafield.

“I was recently offered an opportunity to pursue my passion as a chef, have more time for my family – without the ups and downs — and become part of a remarkable restaurant family,” Klemm said in a press release.

He will become executive chef for Fishbone’s Cajun & Creole Restaurant and ZIN – Uncommon California Italian.

“After almost 3 years of serving our amazingly loyal guests, it’s bittersweet for me to announce that The Villa at Heaven City has officially closed its doors,” Klemm continued. “We are no longer open to the public, but will be honoring our commitments to private parties, Chef Tables & events to year’s end. There are a few tentative offers on the table, but we are actively seeking to sell/rent the space and its contents to the best-qualified individuals.”

Klemm said he’s looking forward to tweaking the Delafield restaurants’ “already successful menus, while embracing vegetarian, gluten-free, and other health and allergy restrictions. As always, you can count on me to continue to support local farms and businesses, while offering bold and unique flavors.”

“Robert represents the next generation of our business and we are excited for what our future holds together,” said Dennis Sobczak and Jessie Souza, Fishbone’s & ZIN Ownership Team. “With his help, we are going to expand our ever-evolving food canvas and bring an elevated, imaginative new array of offerings to the city of Delafield.”
