GERMANTOWN — Charlie Wright Jr. has been promoted to vice president of operations at Rheocast Company, a contract manufacturer of high pressure brass and aluminum die castings, at its Germantown facility. Wright had been serving as the plant superintendent of the 40-year-old Wisconsin company, and was previously the sales & marketing manager of the firm.

“Charlie’s hands-on experience has been vital in helping grow our company,” said Brennen Weigel, president and CEO of The Fall River Group, Inc., the parent company of Rheocast, in a statement. “Charlie began his career almost 10 years ago working at Fall River Foundry, our other division, and his commitment to making our organization the best at producing cast and machined components is what we need for continued prosperity.”

Since Wright began working at Rheocast in 2011, he has secured over 15 new customers, expanded the company’s capabilities by adding a toolmaking facility, and won the International Die Casting Competition, hosted by the North American Die Casting Association, in 2011 and again in 2017 for his innovative die casting designs.
