CEDARBURG The town of Cedarburg Plan Commission will be discussing a request to rezone portions of two parcels (45.55 acres and 25.6 acres respectively) from agricultural and conservancy zoning to a quarrying district.

The request is being made by The Dawson Trust, the current landholders of the parcels located along Pleasant Valley Road as a planned expansion of the Jackson Lannon Stone Quarry into Ozaukee County.

The petitioner is also requesting an amendment to the existing town code to allow for a change in approved berms and to have the town vacate a portion of Wasaukee Road, returning it to private ownership.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Cedarburg Town Hall, 1293 Washington Ave.
