raSmith opens new office in Mount Pleasant

BROOKFIELD — raSmith, a civil engineering and surveying firm based in Brookfield, announced it opened a new office in Mount Pleasant, the community where Foxconn will build its new manufacturing facility.

“Our Mount Pleasant office will enable us to better serve both public and private sector clients in Racine and Kenosha counties,” said Richard Smith, president of raSmith, in a statement. “Our local presence will benefit both our local government clients and those involved in the Foxconn development. It’s an exciting time to be part of the overall momentum and economic growth that Foxconn will bring to the state of Wisconsin.”

raSmith’s Mount Pleasant office will initially be staffed with engineers, construction services staff and survey crews with plans for additional growth in 2018. Services offered from Mount Pleasant include construction services, development management, ecological services, geographic information systems, landscape architecture, and surveying, 3-D laser scanning, municipal and structural engineering, traffic and transportation, unmanned aerial systems and water resources.
