WEST BEND — Gov. Scott Walker announced Wednesday the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. will provide Cintas Corp. with up to $575,000 in state tax credits to support the construction of a facility in the Town of Greenville in Outagamie County. The project expects to create about 60 jobs.

“I congratulate Cintas on its expansion and applaud the company’s decision to grow in Wisconsin,” Walker said in a news release. “Cintas is a global leader in its industry and we look forward to its continued success in Greenville as well as its eight other Wisconsin locations.”

Construction is underway on a 54,000 square-foot laundry and maintenance facility near Highway 15 and Highway CB. The facility, which should be completed within a year, will provide cleaning and storage for the company’s uniform, floor mat and towel rental services. The building also will include a state-of-the-art operations center for the company.

About 80 employees from the company’s existing operation in Greenville will work at the new facility, bringing total employment to 140.

“Cintas is excited to increase our presence in the Fox Valley,” said Michelle Goret, vice president of corporate communications for the company, in the release. “We are committed to being a good corporate citizen and to maintaining a great work environment for our employee-partners.”
