KOHLER — Kohler Credit Union has been named a 2018 Ellie Mae Hall of Fame awards finalist for business growth excellence, an honor given each year to Ellie Mae clients that have distinguished themselves in their use of Ellie Mae technology, according to a news release.

Locally, Kohler Credit Union has branches at 11357 N. Port Washington Ave. in Mequon and 2550 Washington St. in Grafton. The credit union is in the process of completing a small branch that will be in the lobby of the field house at Homestead High School in Mequon.

The Ellie Mae Hall of Fame recognizes the best and brightest companies who use Ellie Mae’s Encompass all-in-one mortgage management solution, the news release added.

Winners will be announced at Ellie Mae Experience 2018, which will take place March 19 to March 21. This year, Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal, former commander of U.S. and International Forces in Afghanistan, and Amy Purdy, 2014 paralympic bronze medalist and three-time World Cup gold medalist, will present the awards to the winning companies.

Ellie Mae will announce Hall of Fame winners for five categories: Business Growth Excellence, Excellence in Compliance Automation, Outstanding Efficiency and ROI, Digital Mortgage Excellence and Lenders’ Choice for Best Service Provider.

“These lenders, through their innovative uses of Encompass, have showcased their industry leadership, exceptional return on investment and achievement in offering a digital mortgage experience,” said Jonathan Corr, president and CEO of Ellie Mae. “We are thrilled to recognize these finalists and look forward to honoring our winners at Ellie Mae Experience.”

“We are honored to be recognized as a finalist for the 2018 Hall of Fame awards. As a mid-sized credit union in eastern Wisconsin we recognize that we are just a small part of the Encompass user community,” said Dale Livingston, senior vice president at Kohler Credit Union.

“The partnership with Ellie Mae and Encompass has proven to match with our mission of building relationships, strengthening communities and fulfilling dreams,” he added. “We only have been able to achieve our level of mortgage growth by working with a partner like Ellie Mae. We look forward to Experience18 and the mortgage road ahead.”
