Venturedyne acquires Lakewood Fab Tech

PEWAUKEE — Venturedyne, Ltd., a holding company for eight manufacturing, sales, and service companies, announced it has reached an agreement to purchase Lakewood Fab Tech of Holland, Michigan.

Lakewood Fab Tech specializes in the manufacturing of machines, sub-assemblies and parts for food processing, material handling, and automated assembly.

“It has developed extensive expertise and experience in manufacturing equipment where use of stainless steel is a significant value,” according to the announcement.

In addition, Lakewood Fab Tech has experience in laser cutting, metal forming, deburring and finishing, CNC machining, welding and passivation, assembly of stainless steel. It also has capabilities and expertise in powder coating.

Lakewood’s 50,000-squarefoot facility provides significant capacity and was combined with Venturedyne, Ltd.’s Thermotron Industries of Holland, Michigan, on Dec. 28.

Thermotron is a manufacturer of high-performance environmental test chambers and vibration test systems, widely used to simulate harsh environments to improve product quality and reliability.

Pewaukee-based Venturedyne, Ltd., companies that have similar technology and material demands include Climet Instruments, Dings Magnetic Separator Company, Scientific Dust Collectors, and Advanced Detection System Company.
