WAUKESHA — Attorney Timothy J. Andringa, a
partner in the Waukesha law firm of Cramer, Multhauf &
Hammes, LLP, received the 2017 Robert L. Habush Trial
Lawyer of the Year Award along with attorney Al Foeckler
of Cannon & Dunphy, S.C. at the Wisconsin Association of
Justice meeting held on Dec. 15. Andringa and Foeckler
are the 18th recipients of the Award.
The
Robert L. Habush Trial Lawyer of the Year Award was
created in 2000 to recognize a Wisconsin trial lawyer
who has made significant contributions to the trial bar
by handling a case involving significant change in the
law; prosecuting a precedent-setting or extraordinarily
challenging case; or by donating time advocating for
injured consumers.
Andringa and Foeckler represented the victims in a
lawsuit who were injured and killed when a concrete
panel weighing more than 13 tons fell from the facade of
the Milwaukee O’Donnell Park garage structure. The panel
killed 15-year-old Jared Kellner and severely injured
Amy Wosinski and her son, Eric Wosinski. In 2013 a
Milwaukee County Circuit Court jury returned a verdict
for over $38,000,000 following a multi-week trial. |
