Waukesha Metal Products installs new laser at its Grafton fabrication facility

GRAFTON — Waukesha Metal Products, a metal stamping and fabrication business, has installed the Mitsubishi SR-F40 laser at its fabrication facility in Grafton.

The laser has 4,000 watts of laser-cutting power, cuts up to one inch thick and utilizes fiber optic cutting technology for cutting speeds up to three times faster than traditional methods.

“We are constantly looking for ways to enhance our customer experience,” CEO Jeff Clark said in a news release. “This investment is just one of the ways we are adding value, providing new solutions and improving efficiencies for our customers.”

Waukesha Metal Products, established in 1971, is headquartered in Sussex. It has additional facilities in Grafton and San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
