NASHOTAH — The Plan Commission approved a zoning permit and plan of operation on March 7 for Burlington Healthcare Providers, Inc. to operate out of the former Lake Country Christian Academy building at W329-N4476 Lakeland Drive in Nashotah, according to Village President Rich Lartz.

The Plan Commission also approved SkipperBud’s request to split the parcel of land where the Christian Academy rests, to sell the property in its entirety to BHP Inc.

SkipperBud’s Marina Operation Manager Todd Suchomel told the Enterprise that the building was not conducive to the storage needs of SkipperBud’s.

Lartz said the company plans on using the Christian Academy school for office space.

The sale of this parcel and the school was part of a bigger project by SkipperBud’s to expand boat storage facilities on adjacent parcels just behind Nashotah Village Hall.

Some of the five boat facilities are located on the recreational fields next to the academy off of Lake Land Drive.

Burlington Healthcare Providers, Inc. is a physician recruitment firm specializing in the placement of emergency medicine, radiologists and hospitalists nationwide, according to the BHP website.
