Waukesha County Business Alliance celebrates 100 years

WAUKESHA — The Waukesha County Business Alliance held its 100th annual meeting at the Waukesha County Expo Center on Thursday.

During the event, Jim Walden of Walden & Schuster received the Don Richards Leadership Award.

The meeting also provided time for networking and the opportunity to learn about the trends facing businesses in the future. Event speakers for the Waukesha County Business Alliance’s 100th annual meeting were, from left: Austin Ramirez of HUSCO International; Cindy Gnadinger of Carroll University; Neal Glaeser of Denali Ingredients; Ty Staviski of Milwaukee Tool; Joel Quadracci of Quad/Graphics; Tina Chang of SysLogic; Aaron Jagdfeld of Generac Power Systems; emcee Leon Janssen; Wendy Harris of GE Healthcare; Don Schlidt of Dedicated Computing; Tim Casey of the Waukesha County Center for Growth; Mark Hansen of the Elmbrook School District; and Jim Walden of Walden & Schuster.

Before it was known as the Waukesha County Business Alliance, the organization was named the Waukesha County Chamber of Commerce, as well as other names during its 100 years of existence.
