WAUKESHA — After a year of work, the $9.4 million renovation to Husco’s Waukesha headquarters has been completed.

Husco, which is a designer and manufacturer of high performance electrohydraulic components, has multiple locations but is based out of 2239 Pewaukee Road in Waukesha.

“The completion of this renovation is significant on many levels,” said Austin Ramirez, president and CEO of Husco, in a statement. “Our goal is for the Husco headquarters to provide a world class facility for our employees, while continuing to provide a foundation for our continued global growth.”

The first building on the Husco Waukesha campus was constructed in 1954. Since then, the site has undergone more than 20 major renovations and additions.

The Waukesha campus remains the home base for 390 of the 1,400 people that Husco employs worldwide.

According to Tuesday’s announcement, the renovation was announced last September as part of an $85 million plan to expand and modernize the company’s worldwide facilities and manufacturing equipment.

“Our updated facilities will enable us to launch a number of market-shifting new technologies that will dramatically improve the productivity, efficiency and safety of off-highway and automotive vehicles,” Ramirez said in the statement. “All of these new products are based on proprietary designs and many incorporate Husco’s unique electrohydraulic technology.”

Architecture, design, and construction partners for the Waukesha renovation included Briohn Building Corporation, M& M Office Interiors, Savage Solutions and The Rodell Group.
