RACINE — Pastorino Decorating,
Inc. announced that for the first time since the company was founded
in 1946, it will be owned by someone outside of the Pastorino
family. The southeastern Wisconsin’s business was sold to Randy
Copenharve on Tuesday by Stan Postorino, who has owned the company
Postorino, former president and CEO, will remain in a consulting
role during the transition while the daily operations remain
unchanged for the company’s 50 employees and numerous customers.
Postorino Decorating Inc., which provides commercial painting,
drywall, acoustical ceiling and concrete finishing work, partners
with general contractors on projects throughout southeast Wisconsin,
including Racine, Kenosha, Walworth, Milwaukee, Waukesha and Ozaukee
Recently, Postorino Decorating Inc. has provided work on interior
acoustical ceilings and exterior finishing of Foxconn’s first
building in Racine, as well as renovations to the Snap-on Inc. world
headquarters in Kenosha, ongoing interior and exterior work for
Uline’s headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, and major renovations to
the S.C. Johnson & Son world headquarters in Racine.
“I know I’m leaving my family’s legacy in good, capable hands with
Randy (Copenharve),” said Postorino in a statement.
Copenharve spent the last 13 years at Uline as director of
facilities and construction.
