WAUKESHA — Longtime Waukesha eatery Canyon City Wood Grille, 2903 N. Grandview Blvd., has officially reopened under the same ownership as the Silvernail Inn Bar & Eatery.

Canyon City, which had a Western theme, closed in July for rebranding.

The new Silvernail Inn now has what co-owner Elaine Dobson describes as a modern supper club vibe.

Regulars of the restaurant’s previous incarnation can still expect favorites like the prime rib and beer-battered cod fish fry, Dobson said. But she said new and old diners should also enjoy a host of new offerings, including a variety of sandwiches, burgers, seafood, and pastas, as well as a new salad bar, which should be available next month.

Dobson and her partner and brother Ted Demopoulos are also excited about the new ice cream drinks the restaurant is offering.

“Everything is made to order. We are not a chain,” Dobson said, adding that the ice cream drinks are “to die for.”

The business will open at 4 p.m. Monday-Saturday, but will be closed on Sundays.
