GRAFTON — Phoenix Investors,
which purchased the former Tecumseh Products Co. engine plant in
Grafton, has another tenant for the building.
The latest tenant is Midwest Assembly, Warehouse and Distribution,
which will occupy about 56,000 square feet of the building at 900
North St. The company, based in West Bend, provides logistics for
the shipping operations of other firms.
The transaction was first reported in Milwaukee Business Journal.
Phoenix Investors and a partner purchased the former Tecumseh plant
in 2016. They have been upgrading the 341,944-square-foot facility
and leasing portions of it. Others who are using portions of the
building are Guy & O’Neill Inc. and Walmart.
The building was about three-quarters occupied at the start of the
year, according to documents filed with the village related to the
Midwest Assembly lease.
