CITY OF PEWAUKEE ó The Angelus
Corporationís proposed 40,000-square-foot headquarters was approved
following a Plan Commission meeting Thursday night. However, the
project is still contingent upon rezoning the 30-acre project site
Springdale Road and Interstate 94.
The Angelus Corp., a Sussex-based company, is a global manufacturer
and service provider of aerospace and defense solutions, according
to their website. Specifically, the company develops and
manufactures electronic components. In a letter to plan commissioners,
the company states the new facility would become the new
headquarters and house office space, manufacturing, storage areas
and an engineering lab. The company currently has 75 employees but
may add 25 employees with this expansion.
While the site plan has been approved, the Common Council will have
to approve rezoning the land from agricultural district and upland
conservancy to a mixed industrial district zoning, according to the
Jan. 17 Plan Commission packet.
