CITY OF PEWAUKEE — Ristorante
Lago on Pewaukee Lake will be closing Jan. 26 and reopen in February
with a new name and concept.
According to a Facebook post, the restaurant is closing because lead
Chef Joe Volpe will be leaving to pursue other opportunities.
“I want to thank Chaz (Hastings, the restaurant’s owner) for his
love and support since day one of Lago and I wish him and the new
venture the best of luck,” Volpe said.
Volpe encourages all to visit Ristorante Lago for its last wine
dinner on Monday.
Located at
N26-W30227 Maple Ave., Ristorante Lago offers classic
home style dishes from true Italian family recipes as well as a full
bar and an extensive wine list, according to its website.
