MSI General announces hires, promotions

OCONOMOWOC — MSI General Corp., an award-winning design-build general contractor in Oconomowoc, recently announced several employee hires and promotions.

Ken Krahe has been promoted to president. Since joining MSI General almost 18 years ago in 2001, Krahe has played integral roles in the company’s entire design-build construction process. His hands-on experience, integrity and collaborative approach will guide the day-to-day and long-term leadership and growth of MSI General’s operations.

Tim Melan, with over 20 years of experience at MSI General, is transitioning into an expanded role as senior vice president — operations.

As a member of the MSI General leadership team, Melan oversees all construction activities, including preconstruction planning, and participates in strategy and management development.

John Kutz has been promoted into an expanded role as vice president — sales and estimating. Kutz leads the sales and estimating team, driving strong partnerships with clients and contracting companies. He is responsible for business development and project management of the bidding, approvals, and construction of projects generated and sold.

In addition, Anne Krogstad was recently hired as an architect.

She has more than 17 years of experience in residential and commercial construction, in both architecture and interior design of projects. Krogstad received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison in interior design and a master’s degree in architecture from UW-Milwaukee.

She lives in Oconomowoc with her husband and son.
