WAUKESHA — Waukesha’s second Aldi grocery store opened Thursday at 2210 W. St. Paul Ave. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and giveaways. Situated next to the Kohl’s at the Fox Run Shopping Center, the new store is located in an area that was once part of the department store. When news of the new store first surfaced in March, Kohl’s had recently announced it had struck a deal with Aldi to operate alongside some of its existing department stores.

Customers took part in the ribbon-cutting on Thursday, as did Mayor Shawn Reilly, seen here in a periwinkle tie, Aldi employees, and Sixth District Alderman Jack Wells, far right.
