on 105 N. Rochester St. in Mukwonago.
MUKWONAGO — Espresso Love Coffee is now under new
management after Katie Pierce, who owned the shop for 16
years, sold it to a local couple.
Dave and Tracey Stockwell purchased Espresso Love Coffee
from Pierce earlier this year, Dave Stockwell said.
Stockwell worked for Pierce for several years before he
and Tracey moved to Florida to pursue career
opportunities. However, the couple decided to return to
Mukwonago when they discovered the coffee shop was for
sale, he said.
“I started working for her again after I quit a
full-time job because Tracey and I thought we would want
to run a coffee shop one day,” Stockwell said. “We
decided to move back and take over the store and it’s
been a lot of fun so far.”
While the menu is mostly the same for now, the couple is
hoping to add a few new items in the near future.
“We offer the coffee and pastries and I’m making the
soup from scratch,” Stockwell said. “I’m trying to
elevate the soup game here.”
In the meantime, the couple hopes to expand on the
positive aspects of the business that Pierce established
during her tenure at Espresso Love Coffee, Stockwell
“Katie had a good store here, people like it and we get
a lot of positive comments,” Stockwell said. “I think
we’re doing the right things so far.”
