OCONOMOWOC — Noodles & Company
is planning on opening a new location in the Pabst Farms Marketplace
that is set to open this summer.
“We look forward to serving the Oconomowoc community and will share
more about the opening in a few months,” said Noodles & Company
Director of Communications Danielle Moore.
The Broomfield, Colorado based business offers a variety of types of
pasta and noodles dishes from Wisconsin Mac and Cheese to Japanese
Noodles and Company currently has 459 locations nationwide, with 46
locations in Wisconsin, with six of those in Waukesha County.
Moore said Noodles & Company is beloved in the Waukesha area.
“We look to open new restaurants in locations where we think the
business will do well, particularly in areas with strong daytime and
evening traffic,” Moore said.
Oconomowoc Economic Development Director Bob Duffy said there has
been continued activity in the Summit Avenue corridor because of its
proximity to the interstate.
“As we continue to add residents, there’s a need for additional
types of restaurants,” Duffy said.
The city has certainly continued to add restaurants, with Noodles &
Company on its way, it will follow Taco Bell and Scramblers coming
to the Summit Avenue corridor in the last six months alone.
Duffy said Noodles & Company has been looking at the community and
just needed to find the right location; which it sounds like it has
at the Marketplace where Qdoba, Jimmy John’s and MOD Pizza are.
“Oconomowoc’s continued growth is providing positive business
attraction as it relates to restaurants and goods and services to
the community,” he said.
