NEW BERLIN — United Heartland, a
national workers’ compensation insurance company, announced Monday
it will offer workers’ compensation insurance in Pennsylvania,
Maryland, Louisiana and the District of Columbia effective
United Heartland has expanded recently across the country, adding
Oklahoma and South Dakota to the area it services.
“Our entry into these new markets strengthens our national presence
in the workers’ compensation market,” said Steve Cooper, president
of United Heartland, in a statement.
“Our approach has been particularly successful within our six key
business segments — education, health care, long-term care,
manufacturing, nonprofits/ social services and wholesale/retail,”
