Weissgerber’s Golden Mast
Executive Chef John Moosreiner was recognized as“Best
of the House” by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association on
OKAUCHEE — The
executive chef of Weissgerber’s Golden Mast, John Moosreiner, has been recognized as “Best of the House”
by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association.
He was honored at the March 12 gala.
Moosreiner has served as the executive chef at the
Golden Mast for 47 years.
“His unwavering commitment to exemplary performance, to
quality and excellence, demonstrated in all aspects of
the many challenges, that define the day-to-day
accomplishments in a chef’s career, have gained him the
admiration and respect of all; from aspiring young cooks
to experienced chefs, who worked side by side on his
team, and from restaurant staff and customers alike,”
reads an announcement.
The announcement goes on to say that Moosreiner never
missed a day of work and he was reliable and steady.
“Chef John Moosreiner’s professionalism, dedication,
performance and commitment to his team and his chosen
profession, has been instrumental in the long-term
success of the Golden Mast restaurant for half a century
and into the future,” reads the announcement.
Moosreiner will retire next year.
