WEST BEND — Cedar Community, a West Bend-based assisted and independent living complex for seniors 55 and older, has announced plans to renovate its Top of the Ridge restaurant. Remodeling on the 4,500-squarefoot eatery — located on the Cedar Ridge Campus at 113 Cedar Ridge Drive — is slated to start next week, according to the organization. The restaurant is slated to close on Monday, with operations moving temporarily to Cedar Ridge’s Grand Hall. Plans include installing new walls, carpeting and furniture and adding a bar and lounge area. “There will still be an area for private dining in the back of the restaurant for small groups hosting an event, meeting or family gathering,” Cedar Community said in a news release announcing the renovation plans. “The project focuses on providing a casual dining experience while keeping up-to-date on the latest trends, and enhancing the overall dining experience for our residents and guests.”

Cedar Community includes homes and apartments for independent retirees, as well as assisted living, short-term care, rehabilitation, nursing and memory loss services.
