Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly to buy Klotz’s
Owner Carole Hohl to retire; sale expected to be finalized in June

WEST BEND — Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly announced Tuesday that it will acquire Klotz’s Piggly Wiggly, 2575 E. Washington St., West Bend. This will be the ninth Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly location.

The finalized sale is tentatively set for June 8, according to a press release.

Owner Carole Hohl, who will be retiring, has worked in the West Bend community for 39 years.

“My family and I are excited that the hard work and dedication that we have put into the business along with our associates over the years will continue on. I am happy for the Fox Brothers organization and the opportunity that they will have in West Bend,” Hohl said. “I will definitely miss everyone and all of the life experiences I have had over the years. Thank you to everyone who has walked this journey with me.”

Fox Bros. Piggly Wiggly in Wisconsin is 100 percent employee-owned and operated. It was established by Pat and Bob Fox in Hartland, Wisconsin in 1988, and has grown to include stores in Hartland, Hartford, Hubertus, Jackson, Saukville, Port Washington, Slinger and Oconomowoc.

“Fox Bros. looks forward to bringing their commitment to superior service and the highest quality products to West Bend,” President Pat Fox said. “In addition to certified Angus beef, Smithfield prime pork and Gerber’s Amish chicken we will be adding our Fox Bros. award-winning brats.”

Fox added, “We would also like to welcome all of the team members from the West Bend Piggly Wiggly to the Fox Bros. family.”
