Woodman’s named title sponsor of Waukesha July 4 fireworks

WAUKESHA — The Waukesha Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department announced that Woodman’s Markets is the title sponsor of the July 4th Fireworks program in Waukesha again. Festivities will take place Thursday, July 4, at the Waukesha County Expo Grounds.

“Woodman’s is happy to be a part of the Waukesha community and is proud to sponsor the fireworks in Waukesha for the seventh year in a row,” said Woodman’s Vice President Clint Woodman.

The Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by Woodman’s Markets, will begin at 9:30 p.m. at the Waukesha County Expo Grounds, 1000 Northview Road.

“We are proud to have the employee owners of Woodman’s Markets support the community in such a substantial way,” said Waukesha Mayor Shawn Reilly. “Celebrating Independence Day has become a tradition for so many residents and families in Waukesha.”

The Independence Day activities will begin with a hometown parade stepping off at 11 a.m. from Cutler Park, 321 Wisconsin Ave. at the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Maple Avenue. The parade travels west on Wisconsin, north onto West, east onto Main Street, proceeding on Main Street to Buckley Street, north to Baxter Street to the Schuetze Recreation Center, 1120 Baxter St.
